Compared with food crops, the castor-oil plant is an economic crop, which is cultivation simple, save time and labor, devotion little and benefits high. The seeds main is use to process for aviation lubricant. It always demands exceeds supply in many years. Every year, the 2/3 of demand is import from overseas. The entire production factory can’t produce in full charge.

So by way of backward integration program and to procure quality castor seeds the main raw material, the company has initiated contract farming it is an initiative wherein, we are educating the farmers about better farming techniques and is providing farmers vital information in procuring quality seeds, preparation of soil to suit castor cultivation and use of fertilizers. The contract farming is presently in the state of Odisha and will be expanded to other states very soon.
